With this measure, articulated through the Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia, the Regional Ministry seeks to encourage citizens to invest in renewable energies to supply their homes, due to their economic and environmental advantages. These deductions are applicable for the purchase and installation of solar thermal panels, photovoltaic panels or wind turbines in the taxpayer's usual residence, or in a dwelling intended for renting, provided that this does not constitute an economic activity.

Requirements for the deduction of the irpf deduction for solar panels of a photovoltaic installation

The installation of renewable energy resources must be carried out in dwellings that constitute or will constitute the taxpayer's habitual residence, in accordance with the definition of the same in article 1.1.5 of the Texto Refundido de las disposiciones legales vigentes en la Región de Murcia en materia de tributos cedidos (Consolidated Text of the legal provisions in force in the Region of Murcia regarding assigned taxes), approved by Legislative Decree 1/2010.

This deduction shall also apply to investments made in the acquisition and installation of renewable energy resources in dwellings intended for rental, provided that this rental is not considered an economic activity.

The deduction shall require the prior recognition of the Regional Administration as to its appropriateness in the manner to be determined by regulation.

The application of the deduction shall require that the verified amount of the taxpayer's assets, at the end of the tax period, exceeds the value shown by its verification at the beginning of the same, at least in the amount of the investments made, in accordance with the requirements established in general terms by the state regulations governing Personal Income Tax.

Fulfilment:
