For this new job, our team of installers travelled to the San Ginés Strait in Cartagena. There they installed eight 460Wp Jinko Solar Tiger panels with an inverter for our client. Fronius Primo 3kW. With this installation, our client is assured of an annual electricity production that will cover a large part of its energy needs.
By switching to self-consumption, our customer will no longer be dependent on fluctuations in the electricity market and its constant price rises and will be able to save up to 75% on her electricity bill every month. With these savings, she will amortise her investment in less than eight years, gaining in return a number of benefits. benefits that I would not otherwise have: Independence from the electricity market, access to a sustainable and efficient energy source and reduction of its carbon footprint.
We found a roof with a slope of about 20º and with a good orientation towards the south, so it was not necessary to make any adaptations or raise the panels to take better advantage of the sunlight. We mounted a coplanar structure on the tile, with all the screwed anchors finished off with EPDM rubber washers and sealed with a chemical block to guarantee the watertightness of the installation and thus avoid the appearance of leaks in the future.
For this family we installed eight panels from Jinko Solar, a brand with decades of presence in the photovoltaic market and synonymous with guarantee and reliability. These 460Wp panels will guarantee an average annual photovoltaic production of 6200kW/h under optimum conditions. This is more than enough energy to supply the average consumption of a family for the whole year and will represent a great monthly saving in electricity.
Which inverter do we install?
At the heart of the system we installed a Fronius Primo 3.0 3kW. Fronius inverters are among the best on the market, standing out from their competitors in terms of both quality and reliability, with the added value of excellent technical and after-sales service and a seven-year, extendable warranty on all components.
The Primo inverter is designed to high quality standards and is specifically designed for grid-connected installations without batteries. Fronius inverters have a zero grid feed-in system, which means that they can control the amount of energy that is fed into the grid when it is not being consumed. This system acts in such a way that it only allows current to enter the home when there is consumption and cuts the flow of current produced when there is no consumption, in order to avoiding discharges into the network.
To complete the installation, a single-phase Smart Meter was added, a bi-directional meter that optimises self-consumption and records the consumption curve of the house. Thanks to high-precision metering and fast communication via the Modbus RTU interface, remote power limitation, when limits are imposed, is faster and more accurate. Together with the Fronius Solar.web smartphone app, a detailed overview of the consumption in the household is possible.
